Job Description

Role Overview

As a Graphic Designer at Banyan Tree Dubai, you will play a key role in bringing the Banyan Tree brand to life through compelling and visually engaging creative work across the resort.

Working closely with the Marketing & Communications team, you will develop creative assets across digital, social media, print, events, guest communications, and on-property touchpoints, ensuring all content reflects the brand identity while maintaining a fresh, contemporary and distinctive visual approach.

You will be responsible for translating creative concepts into high-quality visual communications that enhance the guest experience and support the resort's commercial and brand objectives.

Key Responsibilities

Creative Design & Brand Experience

• Develop high-quality creative assets across digital, social media, print, events, and on-property communications.
• Translate creative briefs and brand objectives into compelling visual concepts and designs.
• Ensure all creative output is aligned with Banyan Tree's visual identity, tone, and brand guidelines.
• Develop artwork for campaigns, promotions, events, activations, guest communications, menus, collateral, and internal communications.
• Bring fresh and innovative creative ideas while maintaining consistency across all brand touchpoints.
• Support the development of creative concepts that reflect Banyan Tree Dubai's luxury, wellbeing, sustainability, and lifestyle positioning.

Digital & Social Media

• Create engaging visual content for social media platforms and digital marketing campaigns.
• Develop assets for Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, websites, email marketing, digital advertising, and other relevant channels.
• Adapt creative concepts into multiple formats and specifications while maintaining visual consistency.
• Work closely with the Marketing & Communications team to ensure creative content supports the wider content and campaign calendar.
• Stay up to date with current design, digital, social media, and lifestyle trends.

Print & On-Property Collateral

• Design and prepare artwork for menus, brochures, flyers, posters, invitations, signage, guest directories, and other hotel collateral.
• Ensure artwork is accurately prepared for print production and delivered within required timelines.
• Work with external printers, suppliers, photographers, and creative partners where required.
• Ensure all on-property creative materials are presented to a consistently high standard.
• Support the creation and updating of branded templates and creative guidelines.

Creative Collaboration & Project Management

• Work closely with Marketing & Communications, Food & Beverage, Spa, Rooms, and other departments to understand their creative requirements.
• Manage multiple creative projects simultaneously, prioritising deadlines and business requirements.
• Take creative briefs, clarify requirements, and provide appropriate design solutions.
• Present creative concepts and respond positively to feedback and revisions.
• Maintain an organised library of creative assets, artwork, templates, and brand materials.
• Ensure projects are delivered accurately, creatively, and on time.

Brand Standards & Quality

• Maintain a strong understanding of Banyan Tree brand standards and ensure consistent application across all materials.
• Demonstrate a strong eye for typography, layout, composition, imagery, colour, and overall visual balance.
• Proofread and quality-check all creative materials before release.
• Ensure accuracy of information, imagery, logos, brand elements, and messaging.
• Contribute ideas that continuously elevate the visual identity and creative output of the resort.

Qualifications

Qualifications & Experience

• Previous experience as a Graphic Designer or similar creative role, ideally within luxury hospitality, lifestyle, luxury retail, or a creative agency.
• Degree, diploma, or equivalent qualification in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, Digital Design, or a related discipline preferred.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating creativity, design capability, and versatility across digital and print.
• Advanced knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.
• Experience creating content for social media and digital platforms.
• Strong understanding of typography, layout, composition, imagery, and visual storytelling.
• Experience working within established brand guidelines while also bringing creative ideas and fresh perspectives.
• Photography, video editing, motion graphics, or animation skills would be an advantage.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong time management and ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
