Every piece of content should score high on all four pillars. Learn each one and apply it to your next post.

R - Relationship-Based

Test question: "Does this strengthen my connection with the reader?"

Your content should feel like a conversation with someone you care about, not a broadcast to an anonymous audience. Every post should deepen the relationship.

E - Entertaining

Options: story, analogy, scenario, suspense, contrarian take, humor

You are competing with Netflix and TikTok, not just other creators. Information alone is not enough. Your content must be engaging enough that people choose it over passive entertainment.

A - Authentic

Angles: contrarian views, failures, behind-the-scenes, unique journey

AI can generate information. Only you can share your specific perspective, failures, and hard-won lessons. Authenticity is what makes your content irreplaceable.

L - Leave Wanting More

Techniques: tease next piece, lead magnet, upcoming content, open loop

Provide genuine value in every post, but create a natural bridge to the next piece. Your CTA should feel like a logical next step, not a sales pitch.

The Core Insight

You are not competing with other creators in your niche. You are competing with Netflix, TikTok, and every other form of entertainment for your audience's attention. Information dumps do not win that battle. Relationship-driven, entertaining, authentic content with a natural next step does.

The Core Question

Before you publish, ask yourself: "Does this feel like advice from a trusted advisor, or does it feel like a corporate information dump?" If it feels like the latter, go back and add more of YOU: your stories, your failures, your unique perspective. That is what makes content irreplaceable.
