Marketing Videographer | Texas job description

MARKETING VIDEOGRAPHER in ARROWQUIP | TEXAS

Arrowquip started in 1988 on a family farm in Australia with one goal: build cattle handling equipment that makes hard work easy and safe. We brought it to North America in 2003. Today we are a Canadian manufacturer selling into markets around the world, and we are nowhere near finished.

Our why is simple. Ranchers deserve better than what this industry has handed them. So do the dealers who stand behind them. That belief runs through the whole building, and it is why we intend to own this category.

We are hiring a Videographer, based in Houston, to help shape what Arrowquip looks like to the world.

THIS IS A MARKETING ROLE THAT HAPPENS THROUGH A CAMERA

Read that twice, because it is the part most people skip. We are not looking for a camera operator. We are looking for someone who understands that every piece has a job to do: get our point of difference in front of a producer, build demand for it, and move equipment off dealer lots.

Beautiful footage that does not sell anything is a hobby. We want the person who can do both, and who gets a genuine charge out of watching their work show up in the numbers.

WHAT YOU OWN

We plan the stories as a team. That is on purpose. The people here know this market, these products and where the pressure is, and you will know things nobody else in the room does. You pitch. We all get aligned. We make sure we are all pulling the same direction and the brand stays intact. Then it is yours.

From there you plan the shoot, run the camera, and cut it. You are not building media plans or chasing distribution. We have people who are very good at that and it is their job. Yours is to come back with work worth putting a budget behind.

There are briefs. There is collaboration. There is also a lot of room. As long as it is on brand and it serves the strategy, how you get there is your call.

AUTONOMY, IF YOU CAN CARRY IT

This suits one kind of person. Someone who wants their creative to actually do something. Not sit in a portfolio, not collect a small award, but grow a business and land with the people who use the equipment every day.

If you want to cut your teeth on an international brand and have a real hand in where it goes next, there is more room here than you will find at an agency or at a company ten times our size.

THE ROOM YOU WOULD BE WALKING INTO

We move fast. We are never quite satisfied, and good enough does not last long around here. The entire company knows what we are trying to do and everybody pulls in the same direction, which is rarer than it sounds.

We support each other as hard as we challenge each other. Work gets reviewed in the open and people say what they think. Nobody is above the cause. It is not a soft room. It is a fair one, and the work is better on the other side of it.

We also move quickly on new tools, AI included. We would rather you spend the day shooting than transcribing.

WHERE THE WORK HAPPENS

You are based in Texas. One week a month you are at head office in Manitoba with the marketing team and the engineers who design what you are filming. For your first six months, plan on roughly a second week a month while you get up to speed. After that, add a road trip every couple of months for field shoots on operations across the market.

Some of your best days will start before sunrise on a ranch, or at a dealership, somewhere you have never been. If that reads as a reason to take a job rather than a reason to skip one, we should talk.

WHAT WE WILL TEACH YOU

You will get a lot of support up front. Time on real operations, ride alongs with our sales teams, hands on with the equipment, and mentorship from people who have spent their careers in this industry. Expect plenty of it in your first six months.

After that the growth is on you. The best people here never stop learning the customer.

One thing we cannot train. You need to understand rural life and respect the people who live it. Our audience works with their hands, starts early, and can spot someone faking it. If that world already feels like home to you, you are going to do well here.

WHAT YOU BRING

  • A creative that proves you can carry a piece by yourself. Camera, light, story, edit.
  • Directing instinct, so what you make has a spine and not just a soundtrack.
  • The ability to get a real answer out of someone who has never been on camera and is not sure they want to be.
  • Full ownership in your creatives through color, sound, and enough engagement tactics to hold their attention.
  • A marketing brain, so you can tell us why a piece will work and not just that it will look good.
  • Modern tooling already in your workflow. You should be bringing an agentic tool kit that allows you to strategize more, and do granular work less.

We do not care where you went to school or whose logos are on your reel.

WHAT YOU GET

  • Autonomy to be great at what you do.
  • Decisions and supports in place in days instead of quarters.
  • A talented team behind you on strategy, brand and distribution.
  • Compensation set against what you can actually do.

HOW TO APPLY

Apply through this posting with your resume, plus:

  • Social accounts you produce reels for
  • Long form video you have produced
  • Any sales or product video you have done

We look at the work first.
