As we continue to grow and deliver innovative technology solutions to our clients, we are seeking an experienced and results-driven UI & Visual Designer to join our Dhaka office.

Job Description

As Gigalogy continues to expand its client and partner projects, we are looking for a UI & Visual Designer to create intuitive, engaging, and high-quality digital experiences across diverse products and platforms.

This role will primarily support our client and partner company projects, working closely with product, engineering, and cross-functional teams to deliver polished interfaces, compelling visual assets, and meaningful user experiences.

Prior experience with Design Systems or client projects is not mandatory. What matters most is strong visual design expertise, including UI design, motion, and animation, along with a passion for creating user-focused solutions and the ability to adapt to different product requirements. This role also offers an opportunity to grow further in Design System practices and contribute to building scalable design solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Build and maintain components: Design new components and refine existing ones, keeping visual quality consistent across the system.
• Design motion and interaction: Define motion and animation for components and interaction patterns, keeping transitions intentional and consistent across the system.
• Support product visual identity: Help develop and evolve the product’s visual identity through UI styling, illustration, iconography, motion, and other visual assets.
• Contribute to governance and documentation: Help maintain usage guidelines, naming conventions, and versioning documentation so the Design System stays coherent as it scales.
• Support adoption: Answer questions from designers and engineers, provide practical guidance, and help teams use the Design System consistently.
• Collaborate with engineering: Use a working understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to design with implementation constraints in mind and communicate effectively with engineers.
• Maintain quality and accessibility: Review visual consistency, UI pattern integrity, and accessibility considerations across the system

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of professional experience in UI, visual, or product design.
• Strong visual and UI design skills, with hands-on experience in Figma or equivalent tools.
• Ability to design motion and animation, including transitions and micro-interactions, as part of a cohesive visual system.
• Working understanding of HTML/CSS/JavaScript — enough to collaborate effectively with engineers and design with technical constraints in mind, not to implement production code.
• Strong attention to detail and a drive for visual consistency.
• Ability to create cohesive visual systems that work consistently across and product experiences.

Nice to Have:

• UX design skills, including user flows, wireframing, and interaction design.
• Experience with, or interest in, applying AI to Design System operations such as AI-assisted component generation, documentation, or governance workflows.
• Experience working on Design System governance or operations.
• Familiarity with design tokens and component libraries.
• Experience collaborating with UX researchers or PMs.
• Experience contributing to a product visual identity or brand system.

Soft Skills:

• Ability to work autonomously and adapt as priorities shift.
• Clear, considerate communication with both designers and engineers.
• A systems-level view that extends beyond individual components.
• Genuine motivation to grow into Design System work.
