Summary of the Visual Designer job at Kettle

Kettle is a team of passionate, fearless creatives focused on delivering great products, redefining best-practices, and providing new opportunities for our clients. 

We are hiring Visual Designers to join our team designing end-to-end digital website projects for one of our largest clients, a Bay Area based creative tech company. Visual Designers are the backbone of the Design team, and have the ability to communicate and collaborate with other creatives in Product design, Brand design, Motion design, Copy, and Systems design. We are looking for designers who have the passion to be both a team member and proactive individual contributor.

These roles require team members to be onsite 5 days per week, for 2-3 months at a time, for specific projects. At other times during the year, the team is remote. 

Candidates should have:

• A strong portfolio demonstrating a diverse range of digital design work
• Mastery in Figma and Sketch
• Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and Keynote
• Proactive communication skills, and the ability to work on multiple projects with large and variable teams simultaneously
• Experience designing robust GUI Kits for web and native iOS apps is a plus
• Creative agency and/or in-house marketing team experience

The target range of base compensation for this role is $65k - $85k. Actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and location.
