A Content Creator researches, develops, and publishes content across digital platforms, including social media, websites, video channels, and podcasts. Day-to-day work involves ideating content concepts, writing copy or scripting, shooting or recording, editing, and publishing, often with an eye on platform-specific formats and audience behavior. Depending on the specialization, a Content Creator may focus on short-form video, long-form editorial, radio and audio, or branded social content, and frequently collaborates with marketing, design, and brand teams to ensure output aligns with strategic goals.
Key responsibilities
- Research topics and develop content ideas aligned with brand or audience strategy
- Write, script, shoot, record, or edit content for assigned platforms (social, video, audio, web)
- Publish and schedule content using CMS or social media management tools
- Adapt content format and tone for specific platforms (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, radio, etc.)
- Monitor content performance metrics and iterate based on engagement data
- Collaborate with marketing, design, and talent teams to support campaigns
