A Content Writer researches topics, interviews subject-matter experts when needed, and produces written content, articles, blog posts, web pages, newsletters, and reports, tailored to a defined audience and channel. Day-to-day work involves interpreting briefs, conducting keyword research, drafting and self-editing copy, optimising text for search engines, and collaborating with editors, SEO strategists, and designers to get content published on schedule. Senior writers may also mentor juniors, own editorial calendars, or cover specialist beats such as finance, tech, or a specific language market.
