Director of Provider Growth Marketing job description
About Clarity Pediatrics
Clarity Pediatrics is redefining pediatric chronic care in a fragmented, $100B category.
Clarity is fast emerging as one of the most innovative leaders in pediatric health. One in three American children has a common chronic condition like ADHD, allergies, asthma, and obesity – yet families struggle to get timely, high-quality care. Clarity scales virtual access to multi-specialty care, putting all the care a family needs in one place. We are turning a chaotic, fragmented and expensive care journey into a clear path forward.
Now is a great time to join - we just closed a substantial Series A, which means we’ve got runway, ambition and a growing team. Since inception, we’ve raised $25M from leading VCs who invested early in category winners like One Medical, Hims, Spring Health, Cityblock, Alto Pharmacy, Strava and Tia.
How we are different
Category creator in pediatric chronic care: Clarity is the first virtual platform uniting multi-specialty care for children with chronic conditions — we have a new model that replaces fragmented specialty visits with one coordinated, scalable system of care.
Clinically led with proven outcomes: Designed by pediatric subspecialists, our evidence-based approach delivers high engagement and industry-leading unit economics, demonstrating both superior outcomes and durable growth potential.
High-trust, high-leverage growth engine: Anchored in pediatrician referrals (85% of volume), innovative group care, and Medicaid inclusion from day one, Clarity’s model compounds through network effects, strong retention, and expanding condition-based verticals.
Experienced team
Our cofounders bring deep domain expertise in healthcare and company building:
Christina LaMontagne (CEO) has led two startups to >$100M ARR and profitability, scaled care delivery to 250K+ patients per month as COO of a leading women’s telehealth service, and was an early GM at NerdWallet (IPO 2021). She earned her MBA at Harvard and was a Fulbright Scholar in China.
Dr. Alesandro Larrazabal (CMO) trained at UCSF and Stanford, led specialty care at Kaiser Permanente, and worked at IDEO. A native of Guatemala, he is triple-board certified across multiple pediatric specialties and ensures all our care is offered in English and Spanish.
Director, Provider Growth Marketing
Clarity Pediatrics is transforming pediatric specialty care by partnering with pediatricians to deliver expert, evidence-based care for children with chronic conditions. Provider referrals are the engine of Clarity’s growth. We're looking for a Director of Provider Growth Marketing to build that provider growth engine that earns the trust of pediatricians and health systems and drives sustainable referral growth.
Reporting to the Chief Marketing Officer, you'll own the marketing strategy, systems, and execution that accelerate provider referrals and establish Clarity as the leading specialty partner for pediatricians. You'll work side-by-side with Sales, Clinical Leadership, Enterprise Partnerships, Product, and executive leadership to design a scalable provider go-to-market engine.
This is a builder role. You'll define the strategy while rolling up your sleeves to execute, constantly testing new ideas, learning from the market, and scaling what works. We're looking for someone who is energized by ambitious goals, obsessed with measurable business impact, excited to leverage AI to move faster, and eager to build the foundation of a provider marketing organization that grows alongside the company.
What you'll own
Obsess over provider referral growth: Design, test, and continuously optimize the marketing programs that increase provider adoption, referral volume, and long-term account engagement to define the playbook for scalable provider growth.
Own the provider journey: Build the communications, lifecycle marketing, segmentation, and channel strategy that create an exceptional experience from first touch through long-term partnership.
Champion provider education: Develop scalable education programs—including webinars, clinical presentations, speaking engagements, and thought leadership—that position Clarity as the trusted chronic care referral partner for pediatricians.
Build world-class sales enablement: Create the messaging, content, tools, and assets that help physician liaisons and enterprise teams win new business, grow existing partnerships, and successfully launch new clinical programs.
Drive event and field marketing strategy: Maximize the impact of conferences, regional events, sponsorships, and speaking opportunities by creating repeatable programs that generate measurable pipeline and deepen provider relationships.
Own provider marketing performance: Define the metrics that matter, build reporting that creates visibility across the provider funnel, and use data to continuously improve engagement, referral growth, and marketing ROI.
Champion AI-first marketing: Lead the adoption of AI and automation across provider marketing, building workflows that dramatically improve speed, personalization, campaign performance, and team productivity.
What we're looking for
8-10+ years of total work experience, 3+ years of provider marketing, field marketing, product marketing, or account-based marketing experience in healthcare.
Builder mentality: You've developed growth initiatives and programs from scratch in a high-growth or early-stage company and know how to turn ambiguity into repeatable systems that drive measurable business results.
Competitive drive to win: This role is for someone who is relentless about growth, energized by ambitious goals, and motivated by seeing their work directly influence business outcomes.
Exceptional communicator: You're among the best at translating complex ideas into compelling messaging, influencing cross-functional partners, and creating content that earns the trust of clinicians and healthcare executives.
AI-first mindset: You're constantly experimenting with AI and emerging technologies to improve the speed, quality, personalization, and effectiveness of your work—and you're excited to help build an AI-forward marketing organization.
Bias toward action: You naturally move quickly, prioritize impact over perfection, and are comfortable making decisions with incomplete information while continuously learning and iterating.
Trusted partner: Colleagues rely on your judgment, integrity, and follow-through. You build strong relationships across Sales, Clinical, Product, and Executive Leadership and consistently earn credibility through your work.
You love startup life: You're curious, scrappy, optimistic, and energized by building. You enjoy wearing multiple hats, embracing ambiguity, and doing whatever it takes to help the business succeed.
Top academic track record: Bachelor's degree required; MBA from a top program is preferred.
We're building in San Francisco. While we hire exceptional people wherever they are, we'd love this leader to be based in the Bay Area and spend significant time with our team in our Union Square headquarters.
