Position Summary
Archer is hiring a Social Content & Platform Lead to own the strategy, execution, and creative direction of our social media channels and executive content programs. This is an individual contributor role that works at the intersection of brand, communications, and executive thought leadership, helping produce content that informs, engages, and builds Archer's credibility with the audiences that matter most and owning the management of Archer’s social channels on a daily basis. You'll partner directly with Marketing leadership and collaborate with in-house content producers, designers, and communications leads. This role is embedded in a fast-paced, technical environment with major product launches, air shows, and industry events as recurring milestones on the calendar. An ideal candidate for this role would be a well-organized, detail-oriented planner and creative that can communicate across teams and partners to develop world-class content and who is ingrained in culture and deep tech trends.
Responsibilities
- Own Archer’s social media strategy and publishing calendar across all brand channels, with accountability for content quality, consistency, and audience growth.
- Lead executive thought leadership content for Archer’s senior leadership team, including platform development, social copy, and supporting long-form content.
- Collaborate with in-house content producers and designers to concept and brief social-first content, video, stills, motion, and written, that reflects Archer’s brand and technical credibility.
- Drive community management and audience engagement across channels, developing the voice and tone playbooks that keep Archer’s presence consistent at scale.
- Partner with Communications, Marketing, and Product teams to plan and execute social coverage around major company milestones, press moments, product launches, and industry events.
- Serve as an embedded content lead at key events and activations across air shows, media days, executive appearances, owning real-time coverage and ensuring the story gets told well in the moment.
- Analyze channel performance, translate data into actionable insights, and regularly report to the VP of Marketing with recommendations that inform strategy.
What We're Looking For
- 5-7+ years of experience in social media strategy and content, with a track record of building and scaling programs for brands with technical, complex, or mission-driven products.
- Exceptional writing skills. You can write in multiple voices, translate dense technical material into compelling content, and adapt tone across platforms without losing substance.
- Experience working within or alongside a PR/communications function, with strong instincts for how social and earned media reinforce each other.
- Proven ability to collaborate with production teams (video, design, motion) as a creative brief writer and project partner, not just a publisher.
- Comfortable operating in a high-velocity environment with shifting priorities, tight timelines, and high visibility.
- Willingness to travel for key events, including international air shows and industry conferences (approximately 10-20% travel).
- Experience in aerospace, defense, deep tech, or advanced hardware is a strong advantage.
- Familiarity with eVTOL, autonomy, or sustainable aviation technology is a plus.
- A passion for innovation, culture and content and a keen interest in shaping the future of urban transportation.

We drive a pay-for-performance culture and reward performance that supports the Company’s business strategy. For this position we are targeting a base pay between $104,600 - $130,800. Actual compensation offered will be determined by factors such as job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
