Social Media Specialist job description
We’re looking for a creative, data-driven, and highly organized Social Media Specialist to elevate our brand presence across social platforms and build meaningful connections with our audience. This role is responsible for planning, creating, publishing, and optimizing social media content while ensuring consistency in brand voice, engagement, and performance.
This position requires someone who combines creativity with analytical thinking, understands social media trends, and enjoys turning insights into impactful content strategies. If you're passionate about storytelling, digital communities, and performance-driven social media, this role is for you.
Challenges that await you:
- Develop and execute social media strategies aligned with brand and business objectives across multiple platforms.
- Plan, create, schedule, and publish engaging content tailored to each social media channel.
- Manage day-to-day social media operations, ensuring timely execution of content calendars and campaigns.
- Monitor social media performance using key metrics such as reach, engagement, impressions, follower growth, CTR, and conversions, providing actionable recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Stay up to date with emerging social media trends, platform updates, content formats, and best practices to keep our brand relevant and competitive.
- Collaborate closely with Marketing, Design, Content, and Product teams to create integrated campaigns and ensure consistent messaging.
- Support community management by monitoring conversations, responding to comments when appropriate, and identifying engagement opportunities.
- Work with paid media teams to ensure alignment between organic and paid social strategies.
- Analyze competitor activity and industry trends to identify opportunities for innovation and audience growth.
- Generate regular performance reports and translate insights into recommendations that drive business impact.
What makes you a great fit:
- 3+ years of experience managing social media for brands, agencies, or high-growth companies.
- Proven experience developing content strategies across platforms such as LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, among others.
- Strong understanding of social media analytics and performance metrics, with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
- Experience using social media management and scheduling tools.
- Excellent copywriting and storytelling skills, with the ability to adapt tone and messaging to different audiences and platforms.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple campaigns and deadlines simultaneously.
- Creative mindset combined with attention to detail and a passion for building engaging digital experiences.
- Experience collaborating with designers, content creators, and cross-functional stakeholders.
- Advanced Spanish and English (mandatory).
